Southern Wake Academy entered their tilt with Woods Charter on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 81-35 victory over the Woods Charter Wolves. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Southern Wake Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Seung Surmons, who went 9 of 16 to rack up 21 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Surmons' evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Kobe Plata was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to eight assists and five boards.

Southern Wake Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woods Charter only racked up eight assists.

Despite the loss, Woods Charter still got an impressive performance from Bhuvanesh Senthil, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxwell Carr, who earned seven points.

Southern Wake Academy pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.8 points over those games. As for Woods Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Southern Wake Academy has already played their next game, a 73-23 victory against River Mill on the 4th. As for Woods Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-15 win against Ascend Leadership on the 4th.
