Volleyball Recap: Valencia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Valencia lost against Saugus back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Centurions. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Saugus got the win, Valencia sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 26-24, 27-25, 18-25, 25-20.

Saugus was led to victory by Emily Tran and Bailey Posey. Tran had 15 digs and two aces, while Posey had ten assists and eight digs. That's the most digs Posey has posted over her last eight matchups.

Valencia now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Saugus, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valencia is set to square off against their familiar foe Castaic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Saugus will face off against rival West Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
