Football Recap: Leakey Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Leakey kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 68-22 loss at the hands of the Vanguard College Prep Vikings.

Leakey lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Paul Pintor, who rushed for 80 yards and one score on only seven carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and one TD. Leakey also got help from Aden Rhiver, who showed off his sure hands for 135 receiving yards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leakey will face off against Cherokee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vanguard College Prep, they will take on Texas School for the Deaf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
