Byron Nelson put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the JSerra Catholic Lions by a score of 2-0.

Byron Nelson never let JSerra Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22.

Ashlyn Seay paced Byron Nelson's offense, picking up 14 kills. Seay got some help from Sophee Peterson and her 24 assists. Finally, Peterson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Byron Nelson's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for JSerra Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Byron Nelson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Redondo Union on the 16th. As for JSerra Catholic, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Sierra Canyon at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
