Basketball Recap: Lewis & Clark Comes Up Short

Lewis & Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mt. Spokane Wildcats. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Lewis & Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Mt. Spokane, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewis & Clark will challenge University at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Spokane, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mt. Spokane Wildcats face off against the Mead Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
