Libertyville not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16, 2024. Everything went their way against the South Elgin Storm as the Libertyville Wildcats made off with a 12-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Anthony Fry looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Libertyville got a big performance out of Quinn Schambow, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI Schambow has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Trevor Wallace, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Libertyville's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Libertyville will take on Huntley at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Elgin, they will face off against St. Charles East at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
