JuJu Atencio put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Friday. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Atencio and Redington will head out to challenge Kenai Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Huskies haven't beaten the Kardinals recently, having gone 0-4 since May of 2022.
