Green Mountain suffered their biggest defeat since September 11th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Conifer Lobos. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Green Mountain was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Conifer work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 26-24.

Cadyn Cavanaugh paced Green Mountain's offense, picking up eight kills. Cavanaugh got some help from Neva Cook and her 23 assists. Ellie Ross controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Green Mountain's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-5. As for Conifer, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
