Volleyball Game Preview: Wilby Wildcats vs. Derby Red Raiders + How To Watch

The Wilby Wildcats will head out to challenge the Derby Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wilby is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Wilby came up short against Oxford and fell 3-1.

While Wilby had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 16-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Derby came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Whitney RVT on Tuesday.

Derby walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 23-25, 25-19.

Derby's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Wilby, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Wilby came out on top in a nail-biter against Derby in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
