Boston Latin came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Wayland Warriors get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. That looming 8-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wolfpack yet this season.

Boston Latin's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Wayland, they moved to 4-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
