Softball Recap: Tri-Central Falls to Tipton in First Game of Season

Tri-Central kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Tipton Blue Devils by a score of 2-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Tri-Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Maruszewski, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

The victory got Tipton back to even at 1-1.

Tri-Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-6 win against Maconaquah on the 14th. As for Tipton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 24-10 victory against Lafayette Central Catholic on the 11th.
