David Emanuel Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They fell 68-55 to the Pinewood Christian Patriots. On the bright side, the 55- point performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring contest to date.

When it comes to explaining why David Emanuel Academy lost, don't look at Ethan Fields. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 33 points and 21 boards. That was a full 60% of the Eagles' points, marking the fifth time in a row Fields has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Evan Fields, who scored six points and five rebounds.

As for Pinewood Christian, the win got them back to even at 3-3. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with David Emanuel Academy: they've now won four in a row.

Banks Hearn had another great game (as he tends to do), putting up 50 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Pinewood Christian's points.
