Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Daniel Hoang and Bryce Uyesato Lead Greenway to Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Greenway had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cactus Cobras, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Demons, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Greenway took Cactus into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12, 15-25, 23-25, 15-7.

Leading Greenway to victory were Bryce Uyesato and Daniel Hoang. Uyesato had ten digs and two aces, while Hoang had 25 assists and four digs. The dominant performance also gave Uyesato a new career-high in assists (four).

Greenway's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-11. As for Cactus, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-22.

Greenway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Cactus Shadows on the 9th. Cactus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
