Soccer Recap: Poudre Beats Brighton for Their Third Straight Victory

Poudre and Brighton combined for 24 shots on goal on Tuesday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. Everything went the Poudre Impalas' way against the Brighton Bulldogs as the Poudre Impalas made off with a 5-0 victory. It was an even better day for Mika Mason as she scored three goals for her team.

The win was the third in a row for Poudre, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matches. As for Brighton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Poudre has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Horizon on the 13th. Brighton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Legacy at 7:15 p.m. on March 24th.
