Volleyball Recap: Madison Highland Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Madison Highland Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles, falling 3-0. The Heat were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Scottsdale Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lucy Dickerson, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Dickerson has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Howell, who had five aces and three digs.

Madison Highland Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-6.

Madison Highland Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Fountain Hills on the 24th. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Glendale Prep Academy on the 27th.
