Soccer Recap: Lafayette Wins Going Away Against Sayre

Lafayette kept a clean sheet against Sayre on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Spartans. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Lafayette considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

The victory got Lafayette back to even at 6-6-3. As for Sayre, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4-2.

Looking ahead, Lafayette will head out to square off against Frederick Douglass at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Frederick Douglass will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Lafayette surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sayre, they will take on Lincoln County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
