Basketball Recap: DeSoto Comes Up Short

DeSoto was the 55-51 winner over Pacific when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons fell 57-47 to the Indians on Monday. Dragons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Indians since Monday.

DeSoto's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pacific, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

DeSoto didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-48 victory against Herculaneum on the 10th. As for Pacific, they have also already played their next matchup, a 58-15 loss against Farmington on the 10th.
