The Anaheim Colonists are taking a road trip to take on the Los Amigos Lobos at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Anaheim's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
Anaheim's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Western with a sharp 11-0 win. The Colonists might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by seven runs or more this season.

Cristina Guillen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other pitching news, Abby Barajas looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Anaheim got a massive performance out of Brooke Chavez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Jenna Johnson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Anaheim was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .419 or higher in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Los Amigos posted their closest victory since February 24th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Savanna, sneaking past 4-3. The win continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won three in a row.
Sophia Gutierrez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Leah Lemusu, who went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.
Anaheim pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Los Amigos, their record is now 14-4.
Both Anaheim and Los Amigos just can't seem to miss. The Colonists have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 13 hits per game. However, it's not like Los Amigos struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.7 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Anaheim took their victory against Los Amigos in their previous meeting on April 11th by a conclusive 23-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colonists since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
