Basketball Game Preview: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Delphi Community Oracles

The Sheridan Blackhawks will square off against the Delphi Community Oracles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Sheridan: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Delphi Community has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Last Thursday, Sheridan came up short against Speedway and fell 38-29.

Meanwhile, Delphi Community made easy work of Logansport on Tuesday and carried off a 48-23 win. The Oracles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Sheridan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Delphi Community, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

Everything went Sheridan's way against Delphi Community in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, as Sheridan made off with a 67-42 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Oracles' Jenna Roth, who posted 21 points along with five boards and three steals.
