Ike McKelvain put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Tuesday. He struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Enterprise is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-11 otherwise.

McKelvain's effort led Enterprise over Kemper County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise is a perfect 3-0 against Kemper County going back to March of 2024, a lead they'll look to extend.
