Volleyball Recap: Jacksonville Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Jacksonville Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since March 18th on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Gramercy Christian Warriors. The loss continues a trend for the Conquerors in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Andrew Smith paced Jacksonville Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Smith got some help from Joshua Barrientos and his ten assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Gramercy Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Jacksonville Christian Academy will take on Christ Covenant at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Gramercy Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
