Volleyball Game Preview: Lamar Vikings vs. Arlington Colts + How To Watch

Lamar is 0-10 against Arlington since November of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Colts at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lamar took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Sam Houston 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lamar was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-6, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Arlington made easy work of Bowie on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Lamar now has a winning record of 19-18. As for Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 17-20.

Lamar might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Arlington in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
