The Catalina Foothills Falcons will square off against the Cienega Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Catalina Foothills' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Cienega's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Catalina Foothills took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Lake Havasu as they made off with a 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Ganon Dwyer made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed six innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Bryce Weege and Nate Shoemaker did most of the damage at the plate: Weege went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Shoemaker went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. That's the most runs Shoemaker has posted since back in February.
Catalina Foothills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Havasu only posted an OBP of .280.
Meanwhile, Cienega entered their tilt with Chaparral on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Firebirds.
The team relied heavily on JAMES LINZMEYER, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of ANTHONY MONTEZ, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Catalina Foothills is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cienega, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Monday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Catalina Foothills hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. However, it's not like Cienega struggles in that department as they've averaged .325. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
