Volleyball Game Preview: Falls Lake Firebirds vs. Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs

The Falls Lake Firebirds will take on the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Falls Lake is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Enloe just ended the team's four-game winning streak last Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

While Falls Lake was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Durham School of the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Triangle Math & Science.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13.

Durham School of the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Falls Lake, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
