Basketball Recap: Grove City Christian Skates Past Wellington School with Ease

Grove City Christian put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Wellington School Jaguars 68-37. With the Eagles ahead 50-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grove City Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jadunn Harris, who went 7 of 8 on his way to 15 points and seven assists. The dominant performance gave Harris a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Brunicardi, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds.

Grove City Christian's record is now 3-0. As for Wellington School, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Grove City Christian and Liberty Union will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Union has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Wellington School, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wellington School Jaguars take on the Grandview Heights Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
