Ariton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Geneva County Bulldogs an 11-0 shutout. The Purple Cats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 10th (when they won 17-0).

Ariton's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Geneva County, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Coincidentally, Ariton and Geneva County will both be playing Dothan the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Wolves on Thursday, while the Purple Cats will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
