Ridgeview has gone 9-1 against Independence recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Ridgeview Wolf Pack will venture away from home to challenge the Independence Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Ridgeview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Ridgeview is headed into the match having not lost since December 6 and will look to keep things rolling. Their defense stepped up to hand Bakersfield Christian a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Wolf Pack, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Bakersfield Christian from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Michael Campos led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Independence didn't have quite enough to beat Liberty on Thursday and fell 3-2. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 773rd, while the Patriots are ranked 185th).

Ridgeview is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-1-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those seven matches. As for Independence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9-2.

Everything went Ridgeview's way against Independence when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Ridgeview made off with a 3-0 victory. Will Ridgeview repeat their success, or does Independence have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
