Recap: Legacy Charter Eagles vs. Father Lopez Green Wave
After flying high against the Trinity Prep Saints last Tuesday, the Legacy Charter Eagles came back down to earth. Legacy Charter fell just short of Father Lopez by a score of 45-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Legacy Charter has suffered since November 25, 2023.
Despite the defeat, Legacy Charter saw an underclassman step up: Khori Polarchy scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayden Richmond, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Legacy Charter's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Father Lopez, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
Legacy Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Circle Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Father Lopez, they will head out on the road to challenge Flagler Palm Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Flagler Palm Coast has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 256 points over their last four matchups.
