Basketball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Springfield Tigers. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 53-42 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Springfield, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Waterloo will face off against McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Springfield, they will square off against Girard at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
