Softball Recap: Mendon Unity Takes a Loss

Mendon Unity's last matchup with Pittsfield could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Saturday. Mendon Unity lost 7-1 to Pittsfield. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row dating back to last season.

Mendon Unity saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Spilker, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Mendon Unity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pittsfield, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Mendon Unity will take on Brown County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pittsfield, they will challenge North Greene at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
