Softball Recap: Era Hornets vs. Samuell Spartans

Era lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Samuell, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 24-1 margin over the Spartans on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Hornets' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Bentley Sloop made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Sloop was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI.
