Phoenix Academy won the last time they faced Central Davidson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Phoenix Academy Firebirds blew past the Central Davidson Spartans 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Firebirds sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

While Phoenix Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Central Davidson scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.

Phoenix Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Central Davidson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Phoenix Academy will be playing at home against Winston Salem Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Winston Salem Christian's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Central Davidson, they are taking a road trip to square off against Triad Math and Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
