Basketball Recap: Conant Gets the Win

Fenton typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Conant proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 53-42 win over the Fenton Bison.

Fenton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Curtis Ellis, who posted ten points and three steals. That's the most points Ellis has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Somenek, who put up seven points and three steals.

Conant's record is now 11-9. As for Fenton, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9.

Conant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-64 loss against Schaumburg on the 23rd. Fenton has also already played their next contest, a 57-36 defeat against Glenbard East on the 24th.
