Texas Lions HomeSchool saw some tournament action on Saturday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 77-59 win over Geneva. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Eagles are ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Texas Lions HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trenton Page led the charge by going 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points and four steals. Page has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Stewart, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Glenn had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Panthers out 63-61.

Texas Lions HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 25-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for Glenn, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-9.
