Softball Recap: Academy of St. Elizabeth Falls to Boonton in First Game of Season

Academy of St. Elizabeth unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 10-3 to the Boonton Bombers on Tuesday. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 10-4 to the Bombers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Boonton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Academy of St. Elizabeth and Boonton will both be playing Parsippany the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Redhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bombers will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
