Volleyball Recap: Jaycee Dimggio's Big Game Can't Quite Lead New Glarus over Cambridge + How To Watch

New Glarus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Cambridge Bluejays. While the Glarner Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bluejays 25-20 in the first set.

New Glarus started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 25-22, 27-25.

New Glarus lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaycee Dimggio, who had 15 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

New Glarus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cambridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

New Glarus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Brodhead on the 6th. As for Cambridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Waterloo on the 9th.
