Volleyball Recap: Tipton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Tipton entered their game against Chickasha on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Chicks. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Chicks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Tipton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-17, 25-13, 26-24.

Chickasha can attribute much of their success to Ari Andrew, who had 23 digs. That's the most digs Andrew has posted over her last 12 matchups.

Tipton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Chickasha, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tipton will head out to square off against Corn Bible Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chickasha, they will venture away from home to face off against Elgin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
