Basketball Recap: Jo Byrns' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Jo Byrns had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Knowledge Academies by a score of 34-26 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Knowledge Academies' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tamia Campbell, who went 5 for 8 en route to 16 points and six boards, and Zerahiah Polk, who posted four points along with 15 rebounds and five blocks.

Jo Byrns' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Knowledge Academies, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Jo Byrns will face off against East Robertson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Knowledge Academies, they will welcome Stem Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
