Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a hard 67-53 fall against the Hancock County Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 51-21 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Hancock County, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Looking ahead, Trinity will take on Muhlenberg County at 4:10 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hancock County, they are taking a road trip to face off against Breckinridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Breckinridge County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.9 points per game this season.
