Soccer Recap: St. Edward Takes Down Rochelle Zell Jewish in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Edward had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers a 1-0 shutout. Joslyn Hidalgo had the honor of scoring the game-winner for St. Edward.

St. Edward is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. As for Rochelle Zell Jewish, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9-2.
