Summit had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Columbia Central Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Emery Estep and Maggie Kalisz, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Amanda Shanahan and her 27 assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Everleigh Deshazo, each putting up seven.

Summit's victory bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Columbia Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-10.

Summit has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Brentwood on the 14th. Columbia Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
