Soccer Recap: Fox Tech Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Fox Tech was not quite Highlands's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Highlands Owls by a score of 1-0. The Buffaloes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Owls earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Fox Tech dropped their record down to 5-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Highlands, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fox Tech will welcome Burbank at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Burbank will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Fox Tech surely won't give up without a fight. As for Highlands, they will be playing at home against Lanier at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
