Volleyball Recap: Deshler Comes Up Short

Deshler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Johnson-Brock Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Jessie Kayser paced Deshler's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kayser got some help from Molley Drohman and her seven assists.

Deshler's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Johnson-Brock, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Deshler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Sterling on the 6th. As for Johnson-Brock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Freeman on the 6th.
