Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Heights Yellowjackets vs. Kennedale Wildcats

The Arlington Heights Yellowjackets will head out on the road to face off against the Kennedale Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Monday, Arlington Heights came up short against Seguin and fell 75-66.

Jamoriun Price put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Bentley Carr, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Kennedale suffered their closest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Mansfield by a score of 74-71. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Arlington Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Kennedale, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Arlington Heights couldn't quite get it done against Kennedale in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 as they fell 67-54. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
