If Hahnville was riding high fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Central Lafourche last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 10-3 to the Destrehan Wildcats on Tuesday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brayden Fontenot made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Guarisco, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Hahnville's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 19-14. As for Destrehan, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-10.

While Hahnville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
