Prairie Ridge barely beat Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves blew past the Rockets 9-1 on Monday. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.

Prairie Ridge's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Prairie Ridge will square off against rival McHenry at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Hampshire at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
