Volleyball Game Preview: Clint Lions vs. San Elizario Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Clint Lions and the San Elizario Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

It was a proper cat-fight when Clint duked it out with Fabens last Friday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Lions have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

While Clint had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, San Elizario came up short against Riverside last Friday, falling 3-0.

While San Elizario was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Riverside's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-23.

San Elizario's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Clint, their loss dropped their record down to 6-18.
