Baseball Recap: Harvest Community Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Harvest Community's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Duval Charter Panthers on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Harvest Community saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Parsons, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Harvest Community has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. Duval Charter's victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Harvest Community will face off against Old Plank Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Duval Charter, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Duval Charter Panthers take on Andrew Jackson Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. They are facing Andrew Jackson at the right time seeing as Andrew Jackson is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
