Football Recap: University of Detroit Jesuit Takes a Loss

University of Detroit Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 41-0 defeat at the hands of the Divine Child Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Cubs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 169th, while the Falcons are ranked 48th).

University of Detroit Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Divine Child, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, University of Detroit Jesuit will square off against Detroit Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cubs will be up against the Yellowjackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Divine Child, they will take on St. Francis de Sales at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
