It's playoff time, and Sierra Canyon had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Mira Costa Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Trailblazers sure are getting used to it with their 18th in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Kendall Omoruyi paced Sierra Canyon's offense, picking up 18 kills. Omoruyi got some help from Lucky Fasavalu and her 49 assists. Kalyani Olive controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Sierra Canyon's win bumped their record up to 40-3. As for Mira Costa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-11.

Sierra Canyon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Marymount on the 15th. Mira Costa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
